While November might mean cold and blustery days elsewhere in the country, down here in Louisiana, it means duck season. From the Coastal Zone to both East and West Zones, folks down here are gearing up for the short duck season window, and you can be a part of it with our Lafitte fishing charters featuring our unique Blast and Cast package.
What is the Blast and Cast package?
Living in Mother Nature's wonderland, the folks here in Lafitte know how to make the most of the outdoors. Our inland saltwater fishing experience is unlike anything else in the country. Guests who take part in our fishing charters travel our waters, coming face to face with the abundance of redfish and speckled trout we're blessed with.
But for just a few weeks each year, our guests are given the opportunity to do more than spend time on water: for a few weeks each year, they can complement their fishing experience with the ultimate duck hunting adventure.
When you sign up for our Blast and Cast package, you'll get:
- Food
- Lodging
- Morning duck hunting
- Afternoon fishing
Our goal is to treat our guests like family, which is why we prepare home-cooked meals for your group, and make sure you have everything you need for your adventures on and off the water. That includes the opportunity to stay in our Peli-Camp houseboats, which combine the authenticity of the Bayou experience with the comfort you and your fishing charter group deserve.
If you're looking for an outdoor adventure like none other, we encourage you to check out what Lafitte has to offer. Throughout the year, we're home to some of the country's most exciting fishing, but now, with duck season underway, our little corner of America is transformed into an outdoorsman's wonderland.
Here at Get the Net Charters, we'll do everything we can to make your fishing and duck hunting experience positive and easy going. We'll pick you up (and drop you off) from the airport; our guide Captain Nick and his crew will show you the ropes to make sure you get your money's worth on and off the water; we'll also accommodate your trip to your group so that everyone will have a good time.
